Football Recap: Allentown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Allentown and Steinert meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Redbirds fell 30-21 to the Spartans. The Redbirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Allentown dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Steinert, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Allentown is set to square off against their familiar foe Hopewell Valley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Steinert will take on rival Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
