Soccer Game Preview: DSST: Green Valley Ranch vs. Manual

The DSST: Green Valley Ranch Raptors will head out on the road to challenge the Manual Thunderbolts at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. DSST: Green Valley Ranch's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch is headed into the game having not lost since March 17 and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor DSST: Montview could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Eden Lander was the only thing that stood between DSST: Green Valley Ranch and a shutout considering she scored both of DSST: Green Valley Ranch's goals, bringing her season total up to nine goals.

Meanwhile, Manual was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Bruce Randolph, falling 7-0.

With that draw, DSST: Green Valley Ranch's record moves to 5-1-2. As for Manual, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch took their victory against Manual in their previous meeting back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Do the Raptors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Thunderbolts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
