Basketball Recap: Burkeville Comes Up Short

Burkeville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 16-6 to the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-42 back in January.

Burkeville's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Hull-Daisetta, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Burkeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hull-Daisetta, they will square off against Wells at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Wells comes in on 13 and Hull-Daisetta on three.
