Volleyball Recap: Mancos Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mancos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Telluride Miners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on October 4th.

Mancos came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24, 23-25, 25-22.

Mancos' loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Telluride, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mancos is set to take on their familiar foe Ridgway at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Telluride will face off against rival Dolores at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
