Volleyball Recap: Mancos Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mancos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Telluride Miners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on October 4th.

The 3-1 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 26-24, 23-25, 25-22.

Bailey Beh paced Mancos' offense, picking up 12 kills. Beh got some help from Tymbri Priestley and her 25 assists. Beh was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Mancos' defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Telluride, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.

Mancos didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Ridgway on the 25th. As for Telluride, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Dolores on the 23rd.
