Softball Recap: Holliston Find Success

Holliston's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Medway Mustangs 19-10. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Holliston got a massive performance out of Grace Schoenberg, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and three RBI. Schoenberg continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Hanna Kaufman, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.

Holliston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .455. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2025.

Holliston's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Medway, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Holliston will square off against rival Ashland at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Medway is set to face off against their familiar foe Dedham at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
