Softball Recap: Madison Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Madison had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over Math Science & Engineering. The result was nothing new for the Golden Knights, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Madison's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Math Science & Engineering, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Madison will challenge Wagner at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Golden Knights 2.2, the Falcons 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Math Science & Engineering does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
