Baseball Recap: Dexter Find Success

Dexter posted their closest win since April 13th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the DeWitt Panthers, sneaking past 6-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dreadnaughts.

Cole Novara was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Dexter's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for DeWitt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Dexter will head out to square off against Huron at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for DeWitt, they will face off against Grosse Ile at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
