Baseball Recap: Wednesday's Loss Ends River Ridge's Winning Streak

River Ridge and Wesley Chapel squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but River Ridge had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-2. The Royal Knights' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

River Ridge got a good showing from Peter Deloreto, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Deloreto has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
