Flag Football Game Preview: Rocky Mount Gryphons vs. North Johnston Panthers

The Rocky Mount Gryphons will take on the North Johnston Panthers at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Rocky Mount hasn't scored more than 12 points for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

On Monday, Rocky Mount needed a bit of extra time to put away Beddingfield. They pulled ahead with a 7-6 photo finish over the Bruins.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Rocky Mount's defense and their three sacks. Jayden Terry was especially locked on to Beddingfield's QB and sacked her twice.

Meanwhile, North Johnston didn't have quite enough to beat Hunt on Monday and fell 21-19.

Rocky Mount's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for North Johnston, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
