Soccer Recap: St. David's Takes a Loss

St. David's game on Thursday was all tied up 3-3 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Cary Christian Knights by a score of 6-5. The loss continues a trend for St. David's in their meetings with Cary Christian: they've now lost six in a row.

Rebaona Zungu and Austin Hernendez scored all five of St. David's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

St. David's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cary Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

St. David's didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-3 loss against Carolina Friends on the 19th. As for Cary Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-0 defeat against Trinity Academy on the 23rd.
