Volleyball Recap: Aptos Comes Up Short

Aptos was the 3-0 winner over Watsonville when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mariners took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcatz on Monday. The Mariners just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 25-12, 25-21.

Aptos' loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Watsonville, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Aptos will welcome Pajaro Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Watsonville, they will be playing at home against Kirby Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
