Football Game Recap: Flagler/Hi-Plains vs. Idalia

Everything came up roses for Idalia against Flagler/Hi-Plains on Friday as the team secured a 78-42 win. Idalia were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

The game started off well for Idalia, whose offense put up 44 first-half points. Flagler/Hi-Plains put up 34, so the score was 44-34 at the half. Idalia's offense just added to that total in the second half en route to their big win. The victory bumped their record up to 3-1. The loss dropped Flagler/Hi-Plains back to even at 2-2.

Next week Idalia take on Stratton/Liberty at 1:30 PM. The teams have set a high bar for this contest after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests. Flagler/Hi-Plains will look to defend their home turf against Arickaree/Woodlin at 3:00 PM. Flagler/Hi-Plains have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Arickaree/Woodlin are surely hoping to exploit.
