Ygnacio Valley lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Tennyson, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. Ygnacio Valley was the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over Tennyson on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, San Lorenzo put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past KIPP King 8-1. Fans of the Grizzlies have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

David Pena was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Pena was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aaron Hernandez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Eric Ferriera was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

The win got Ygnacio Valley back to even at 1-1. As for San Lorenzo, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
