Baseball Recap: Barron Takes a Loss

Barron suffered their biggest loss since May 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Northwestern Tigers, falling 7-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-8 last Thursday.

Barron has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-7-1 record this season. As for Northwestern, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

Barron wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-0 defeat against Cumberland on the 27th. As for Northwestern, they have also already played their next game, a 20-0 victory against Phillips on the 28th.
