Delaware Valley Friends gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They claimed a resounding 51-14 victory over Woodlynde. Delaware Valley Friends not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since November 25, 2024 (when they won 56-19).
Joe Ballou went supernova, shooting 50% from the field on his way to 14 points and seven assists. Those seven assists gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Ruddy, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 10 points.
Looking ahead, Delaware Valley Friends will face off against Community Academy of Philadelphia at 4:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Woodlynde, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on School Lane Charter at 4:00 p.m. on December 16.
