Softball Recap: Signal Mountain Has No Trouble Against Red Bank

Signal Mountain had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Red Bank on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Lions. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Sarah Corn, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Gladys McCullough was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Signal Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Red Bank, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.
