While Jefferson put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Whitewater. The Eagles put the hurt on the Whippets with a sharp 13-0 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Ashlyn Enke made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Aeryn Messmann was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and one double while going 3-for-3. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hildie Dempsey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Jefferson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Whitewater only posted an OBP of .062.

The win made it two in a row for Jefferson and bumps their season record up to 20-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Whitewater, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will head out to face off against Elkhorn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whitewater, they will venture away from home to take on New Berlin West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
