Baseball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 39-1 to the Dreher Blue Devils.

Columbia saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Howard, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Howard is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Dreher, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-6.

Coming up, Columbia will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Clinton at 6:00 p.m. As for Dreher, they will head out on the road to challenge York at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
