The activity and suspense from the day has just about wrapped up and Maryland can lay claim to 46 recruits who signed National Letters of Intent. There are also five more who are still committed but have not signed.

Here are some fun facts from what went down on National Signing Day in Maryland:

- The Old Line State's top recruit, 5-star DeMatha (Hyattsville) DE Chase Young, chose to play for Urban Meyer at Ohio State.
- The Terrapins signed eight (with one more committed) from in-state recruits. Leading the University of Maryland recruiting class is a quartet of 4-stars: Potomac (Oxon Hill) WR Deon Jones, DeMatha RB Anthony McFarland and OT Marcus Minor,  and McDonogh (Owings Mills) T Jordan McNair.
- Duke landed four 3-star recruits from Maryland, including Boys Latin (Baltimore) DE Victor Dimukeje, Bullis (Potomac) SS Damani Neal and DT Derrick Tangelo, and Avalon (Gaithersburg) DT Axel Nyembwe.
- UConn also has four Maryland recruits, led by 3-star St. Frances Academy (Baltimore) WR Jordan Swann.
