Volleyball Game Preview: Rolling Meadows Mustangs vs. Maine West Warriors

The Rolling Meadows Mustangs will face off against the Maine West Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Thursday, Rolling Meadows came up short against Streamwood and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Sabres: they've now lost three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Maine West faced Niles North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Warriors came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

While Maine West won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21.

Maine West's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. As for Rolling Meadows, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
