Basketball Recap: Motivation Jaguars vs. Olney Trojans
The Motivation Jaguars lost against the Olney Trojans back in January of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Motivation was the victim of a rough 77-51 loss at the hands of the Trojans. Motivation has struggled against the Trojans recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Motivation still got an impressive performance from Nijair Williams, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Spence Harvey, who scored eight points.
Motivation's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Olney, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.
Motivation will head out on the road to square off against the Panthers at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Olney will take on the Falcons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Liguori Academy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
