Football Recap: Geneva Vikings vs. Central Rockets
Geneva had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past the Central Rockets with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 42-28. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Vikings were the (much) better team in the second half.
Geneva had a senior duo take command as Michael Rumoro rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns and Anthony Chahino threw for 285 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Talyn Taylor also helped with two touchdowns in total.
