Evansville Memorial had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Mt. Vernon Wildcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. Considering the Tigers have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Evansville Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Mt. Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.
