Volleyball Game Preview: Foothill Falcons vs. Amador Valley Dons

The Foothill Falcons will head out to challenge the Amador Valley Dons at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Foothill came up short against Dublin and fell 3-1.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Dublin scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 25-17.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Amador Valley and Livermore, and Amador Valley kept the tradition alive. Amador Valley blew past Livermore 3-0 on Thursday.

Amador Valley got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. The final score came out to 31-29, 25-17, 25-17.

Foothill's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Amador Valley, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Foothill came out on top in a nail-biter against Amador Valley when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Does Foothill have another victory up their sleeve, or will Amador Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
