Basketball Game Preview: Camden County Wildcats vs. Richmond Hill Wildcats

The Camden County Wildcats will square off against the Richmond Hill Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden County has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 17.

On Saturday, Camden County came up short against Valdosta and fell 57-45. While losing is never fun, Camden County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while Valdosta is ranked 70th).

Meanwhile, Richmond Hill also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Colquitt County by a score of 55-44.

Camden County's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-9. As for Richmond Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Camden County took their victory against Richmond Hill in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 60-38. Does Camden County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Richmond Hill turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
