Football Recap: Savannah Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three + How To Watch

Savannah Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Mount Paran Christian Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 22-7. The Raiders pushed the score to 22-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Blaise Thomas was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 32 yards. Those 201 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Wesley Dinkins helped out on the ground, rushing for 109 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Savannah Christian's record now sits at 3-0. As for Mount Paran Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Savannah Christian and Mount Paran Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Raiders (ranked 70th) will meet Oceanside Collegiate Academy (ranked 12th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mount Paran Christian will face off against Cedar Grove at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th with a big rank disadvantage (284 vs. 72).
