Preview: Kimball Knights vs. Hillcrest Panthers
Kimball is 0-9 against Hillcrest since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Kimball Knights will head out on the road to take on the Hillcrest Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Kimball is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Kimball ended up a good deal behind Sunset and lost 47-29.
Meanwhile, Hillcrest came tearing into Friday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Molina by a score of 49-39.
Kimball's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Hillcrest, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.
Kimball took a serious blow against Hillcrest in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 60-7. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Hillcrest's Emma Yurich, who scored 21 points along with four steals.
