Soccer Game Preview: Mineral Wells vs. Burkburnett

The Mineral Wells Rams will face off against the Burkburnett Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mineral Wells will be strutting in after a win while Burkburnett will be coming in after a loss.

Mineral Wells is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Bowie get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rams needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

They hit Bowie with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Danica Lee (2), Annastacia Garcia, Rikki Gordon, and Jacqueline Velazquez.

Meanwhile, while the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Graham who was credited with the win on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Steers: they've now lost four in a row.

Mineral Wells' victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Burkburnett, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
