Basketball Recap: Tushka Takes a Loss

Tushka lost against Rock Creek back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tushka Tigers took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rock Creek Mustangs.

Despite the defeat, Tushka saw an underclassman step up: freshman Cleat Zike went 7 of 14 on his way to 21 points and three steals. The matchup was Zike's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Colton Madden also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Tushka's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Rock Creek, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.

Tushka will head out to face off against Stuart at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th. As for Rock Creek, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Coalgate at 8:00 p.m. on January 27th.
