Soccer Recap: First Academy Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in November of 2024, First Academy was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Umatilla Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Jack Gruenwald and Adam Olivera scored both of First Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

First Academy's draw makes their record 6-3-2 this season. Meanwhile, Umatilla's record is now 3-11-1.

First Academy will square off against All Saints' Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. First Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season. As for Umatilla, they will face off against Crescent City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
