Volleyball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin lost against Mukwonago last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sabers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17.

Allie Soboinski paced Franklin's offense, picking up five kills. Soboinski also shared the team's lead in assists with Macie Keller: they picked up six each.

Franklin has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season. As for Mukwonago, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-15.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Kenosha Tremper on the 30th. As for Mukwonago, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Catholic Memorial on the 30th.
