Volleyball Recap: Morgan Falls Short of Valley Regional in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Morgan can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Valley Regional Warriors on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in October.

Morgan's loss came despite strong showings from Kendra Brown and Addy Beck. Brown had 11 digs and two aces, while Beck had seven digs. Brown is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Valley Regional, the win was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-1.

Morgan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley Regional, they will square off against Canton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
