Recap: Leo Lions vs. East Noble Knights
The Leo Lions were the 46-18 winner over the East Noble Knights when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Leo was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 33-32 to East Noble.
Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kayla Adams, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Malina Lape was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Leo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for East Noble, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Leo will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bellmont at 7:30 p.m. As for East Noble, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Wayne Wayne at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Fort Wayne Wayne will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 204th, while East Noble is ranked 101st).
