Softball Recap: Rickards Takes a Loss

After flying high against FAMU DRS on Monday, Rickards came back down to earth. The Raiders came up short against the Taylor County Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 12-2. The Raiders have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Arriana Wilson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sheyenne Holmes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Rickards' loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Taylor County, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17.

As of now, neither Rickards nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
