Football Recap: St. John XXIII Comes Up Short

St. John XXIII fell victim to San Antonio Christian and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 41-0 loss at the hands of San Antonio Christian. The defeat leaves St. John XXIII still looking for their first win of the season.

Caden Mouton threw for 32 yards on three of 12 attempts.

San Antonio Christian was led to victory by Ethan Young and Sloan Guillory. Young rushed for 75 yards and one score on only seven carries, while Guillory rushed for 21 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

St. John XXIII's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for San Antonio Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, St. John XXIII will welcome Bay Area Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Antonio Christian, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 21-14 defeat against Long Creek on the 9th.
