Soccer Game Preview: Riverside-Durham vs. East Chapel Hill

Riverside-Durham is 1-8-1 against East Chapel Hill since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Pirates will face off against the Wildcats at 6:45 p.m. Riverside-Durham is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Riverside-Durham is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Jordan on Tuesday. The Pirates and the Falcons finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw.

Riverside-Durham's goal came courtesy of Ella Cohen, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, East Chapel Hill made sure to put some goals up on the board against Hillside on Tuesday. They never let the Hornets get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. East Chapel Hill might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

East Chapel Hill's win bumped their record up to 7-4-1. Riverside-Durham's draw gives them a new season record of 8-5-1.
