Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Roosevelt). Everything went their way against the Dimmitt Bobcats on Tuesday as Roosevelt made off with  a  15-7 victory. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
 K Grimes was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Kadence Goley, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Roosevelt  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .526. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Roosevelt's  victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Dimmitt, their defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 6-13-1.
 Roosevelt will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Muleshoe at 12:00  p.m.  on April 5. As for Dimmitt,  a feisty cat fight will be fought as Dimmitt Bobcats  take on  Littlefield Wildcats at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Their pitchers better be ready for this one: Littlefield has averaged an impressive 10.4  runs per game this season.
