Baseball Recap: De Kalb Has No Trouble Against Maud

De Kalb won the last time they faced Maud and things went their way on Tuesday too. The De Kalb Bears put the hurt on the Maud Cardinals with a sharp 8-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Bryan Rosas looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in February of 2024.

At the plate, Jaylen White and Dom Dunn did most of the damage at the plate: White scored two runs while going 1-for-3, while Dunn scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Keiwon Neal, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

De Kalb now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, De Kalb will venture away from home to face off against Alba-Golden at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maud, they will face off against CHAAMP HomeSchool at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
