Tanner Barkley commands the offense for Ramblers win

Recap: Windber Ramblers vs. Bedford Bisons

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Windber Ramblers ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past Bedford with a 58-52 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Windber, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Windber got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tanner Barkley out in front who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barkley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Grady Klosky, who scored 17 points.

Bedford lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jacob Wilson, who scored 19 points along with two steals. Quincy Swaim was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Windber is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Bedford, they bumped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Windber will take on Meyersdale at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meyersdale is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Bedford, they will head out on the road to challenge Everett at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
