Altamont had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Wayne Badgers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-11 two weeks ago.

Kiley Crapo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Lacie Long was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Altamont pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Wayne, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Altamont will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Badgers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
