Softball Recap: Seton Catholic Find Success

While Seton Catholic put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Skyline. The Seton Catholic Sentinels came out on top against the Skyline Coyotes by a score of 5-0. For the Sentinels, this counts as revenge for the 15-12 victory the Coyotes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Eva Lopez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

Seton Catholic hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Skyline struck out 12 times.

Seton Catholic now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Skyline, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Seton Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-5 tie against Williams Field on the 28th. As for Skyline, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-9 loss against Mesquite on the 28th.
