Basketball Recap: Pender Snaps Ten-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Pender entered their matchup against Howells-Dodge on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Pender Pendragons fell 52-40 to the Howells-Dodge Jaguars. The game marked the Pendragons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The dominant performance gave Dolliver a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylea Mosser, who posted eight points.

Jordyn Ratzlaff was a one-woman wrecking crew for Howells-Dodge as she went 8 for 18 en route to 21 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kylie Brichacek, who had ten points and seven boards.

Pender's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-2. As for Howells-Dodge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.
