Recap: Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets vs. Rocky Mount Gryphons
The Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They were beaten by Rocky Mount 64-11. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Roanoke Rapids has scored all season.
Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alexis Bednarczyk, who scored five points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rocky Mount to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keysha Mizzell, who scored 23 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mizzell has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of McKinley Battle, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
