Basketball Recap: Lake Brantley Takes a Loss

After soaring to 64 points the game before, Lake Brantley was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Lake Howell Silverhawks and fell 77-10. The Patriots lost against the Silverhawks in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 39-32 score last time.

When it comes to explaining why Lake Brantley lost, don't look at Lilly Shanks. Despite the final result, she posted five points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lake Howell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Skii Fournier, who put up 14 points and eight rebounds. Chloe Bibb was another key player, putting up nine points along with eight rebounds and six steals.

Lake Brantley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lake Howell, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Lake Brantley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-20 defeat against Evans on the 9th. As for Lake Howell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-15 win against Lake Minneola on the 9th.
