Volleyball Recap: Rudder Comes Up Short

Rudder's tournament run continued when they took on Mineola on Thursday. The Rangers fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-1. While the Rangers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Yellowjackets 25-18 in the first set.

Rudder started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-5, 25-17.

Rudder's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Mineola, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Rudder didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Kaufman on the 14th. Mineola has also already played their next game (against Brownsboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
