Volleyball Recap: Greenfield Wildcats vs. Marionville Comets

Greenfield lost against Marionville back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Comets.

Kayleigh Back paced Greenfield's offense, picking up four kills. Back got some help from Drew Miller and her ten assists.

Marionville was led to victory by Avi Bellah and Piper Medlin. Bellah had 13 digs, while Medlin had 13 assists and two aces. That's the most aces Medlin has posted over her last six contests.

Greenfield's loss dropped their record down to 12-8-3. As for Marionville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-11-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Greenfield and Marionville will both be playing Lockwood the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Comets will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
