Football Game Preview: Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats vs. Kelly Trojans

The Back of the Yards College Prep Bobcats will square off against the Kelly Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Back of the Yards College Prep will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Back of the Yards College Prep is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Gage Park, posting a 42-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Fighting Owls: they've now won four in a row.

Marko Franco continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 125 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 carries.

Franco was just one part of a punishing run game: Back of the Yards College Prep was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 293 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Kelly's offense. They were beaten by Woodlawn 44-0 on Saturday. That makes it the first time this season the Trojans have let down their home crowd.

The win got Back of the Yards College Prep back to even at 2-2-1. As for Kelly, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
