Basketball Recap: Rj Stack Key Part of Team Effort in Green Wave Win

On Tuesday, the Easley Green Wave were able to grind out a solid win over the Northwestern Trojans, taking the game 57-47.

Easley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rj Stack out in front who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Stack also posted seven blocks, which is notable because Easley is 4-2 when he posts at least five blocks, but 9-12 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Drey Jackson, who posted 17 points and three steals.

Easley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Easley's win bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Northwestern, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

Coming up, Easley is taking a road trip to face off against Indian Land at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Indian Land is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.7 points per game this season. Northwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
