            Mountain Crest has gone  a perfect 10-0 against Sky View recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. The Mustangs will welcome the Bobcats  at 4:30  p.m. Sky View took a loss in their last  matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mountain Crest, who comes in off a win.
Mountain Crest is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They had just enough and edged out West Field  18-16. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Brok Buttars was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching one inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Buttars was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-5 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March.

 In other batting news,  Jace Jorgensen was a standout: he got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.  Zyan Foulger was another key player,  going 3-for-6 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.
 Mountain Crest  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .560. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Meanwhile, Sky View was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They came up short against  Ridgeline, falling  7-0.
 Sky View's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Mountain Crest, their win bumped their record up to 12-6.
 Mountain Crest was able to grind out a solid  victory over Sky View when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, winning  6-3. Will the Mustangs repeat their success,  or do  the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
