Soccer Game Preview: Hoover vs. Central

The Hoover Patriots will face off against the Central Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Hoover is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against San Joaquin Memorial on Wednesday. The Patriots fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Central came up short against San Joaquin Memorial on Friday and fell 3-1.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-2. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.

Hoover beat Central 2-0 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Grizzlies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
